Sometimes people say nice things about me. The truth is it both embarrasses the hell out of me but probably because it feeds my soul at the deepest levels. It seems worth it to share these sweet reflections from my co-workers and friends to help people get a picture of who I am.

Here are a few relatively current testimonials from Linked In. I am grateful for every single one of them.

Jacqui is so amazing at so many things I don't know where to begin. So, I think I'll begin with the thing I appreciate most about her, which is that she's a wonderful human being—kind, generous, funny, reliable, and living her values every day. On top of that, she's wildly creative, with that superpower of also being amazing at thinking strategically and operationally about weird creative tasks that don't like to conform to measuring and projections. Jacqui is also someone who loves learning and is doing the real work of growing as a leader—I saw her improve in several areas while we worked together, including communicating more clearly with the team, building out a leadership support team, and sharing responsibilities more effectively. Jacqui really is a unicorn (wait 'til you see her unicorn wig!) who has skills across a wide range of disciplines and the "let's do this" attitude to be willing to jump in where needed (and also the self-awareness to step back and let other take over when that's best for the team).

I had the pleasure of working with Jacqui at Job Portraits and can confidently say she’s one of the best leaders I know. Even before I joined the team, Jacqui made sure I understood what she valued about my experience and how it fit in with her vision of the company. She also always made herself available to answer any of my questions, which I appreciated.

Once I joined, I discovered she truly embodied a “people-first” leadership style. She actively made time to connect with each teammate, listened to our ideas, and empowered us to seize opportunities we felt passionate about. Her support helped us flourish as individuals and as a company.

She’s caring, optimistic, thoughtfully strategic, accessible, kind, and real. She made us see we all had something worthy to contribute and that our success was collective.

If you want a leader who has a big heart and will fight like hell for her people, Jacqui is your person. She easily builds trust with the people she’s leading because she's right there with us. That kind of connection inspires us all to want to do our best work.

Thank you, Jacqui, for making me feel seen and appreciated. And thank you for just generally being an amazing human. Anyone will be lucky to work with you and for you.

Jacqui became indispensable to Pure on arrival. She has among the highest emotional IQ of anyone we've ever hired and she quickly transcended her operational role to add huge strategic and creative value to our clients and agency. Her can-do spirit, relentless work ethic, and contagious disposition brightened the agency whenever she was in it. There is little I can imagine JGC can't accomplish because she attracts super-talented teams and gets them pulling together.

Jacqui is the type of leader every team needs. She is kind and thoughtful but willing to make the tough decisions that are necessary to allow for growth. Her professionalism and expertise are second to none and it has been such a pleasure to work with her. I never leave a conversation with her without having a moment saying to myself, "I wish I had thought of that."

Over the years I’ve had the experience of working with Jacqui as a client as well as a peer. Jacqui is a deep, empathetic thinker who shows up with a rare blend of half brain & half heart-centered leadership style. I’m looking forward to our next project together … and also our next bubbles (we’re both trying to eat healthier so we drink sparkling water instead of sparkling wine when we meet up!)

I wouldn't be the first person to say that Jacqui wins the "highest EQ in the office" award. Her composure, insight, and downright intelligence makes her the type of leader we should all be so lucky to have (and certainly the type I strive to emulate). On top of it all, she's just downright fun to work with. JGC is the best.

Jacqui is a kind and savvy leader with a treasure trove of agency experience and insight. She's the best boss I've ever had, both because I trust her skill, talent, and guidance—and because she trusts and supports mine.

If I had to define the epitome of a Project Manager, an influential work manager, and a general all-around Life Manager, I would have to point to Jacqui as the ultimate example. Her dedication to doing the best work possible, her ability to keep projects flowing and moving, and her overall joyful outlook on people and life have made her a joy to work with. I highly respect Jacqui and the work that she does and honestly wanted her to be included in all the projects I was a part of. Overall, Jacqui excels on every path and project I have seen her embark on.

Jacqui is one of the most delightful people I have had the pleasure of working with. She is a strategic thinker and one of the wisest managers I know. Not only does she have the ability effectively communicate, but her passion and empathy inspire the best solutions. You want to make great work with her!

Her humor, empathy, and love for people create an amazing work environment. Having the opportunity to work with Jacqui is a treat. In fact, it rarely feels like 'work.' I highly recommend working with Jacqui – and look forward to the next time I have that pleasure.

Jacqui's wisdom and kindness are truly remarkable. After a 20-minute conversation with her, I knew I wanted to be a part of any organization she was leading. As the CEO of Job Portraits, Jacqui was the best leader I have ever had. Despite the company facing extreme uncertainty in the form of historic financial obligations, Jacqui's upfront, honest, and empathetic decisions gave me trust and confidence.

In addition to her overwhelming intuition and business acumen, Jacqui is also one of the most thoughtful, compassionate, and deep-feeling individuals I have ever had the privilege working with.

These videos are a little bit dated, but in my honest opinion, they are still very cool. I have felt that resumes are so bad at telling the story of a person and what is good about working with them. So, sometime around 2015, I asked my co-workers to make some videos for me. I gave them a few prompts, including, “What am I good at?”, “What do you like about working with me?” and “What do you think I should do next?” I have grown so much since these videos were made, but they do represent some pretty core elements of my work persona in ways that I struggle to express myself.
